Owner & Design Curator
Designing is a collaboration of creating sublime beauty
between ourselves and the spaces we habit.
Since childhood I've been enticed and entranced by space. Art classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art spawned my appreciation of exoticism, global style and devotion to art history. Necessity bore my ability to think about interior design from an early age when I made my own Barbie furniture. The interplay of physical space and the imagination provides a blank canvas on which to fantasize, explore, discover and learn.

My educational background and foundation for learning the skills necessary are rooted in interior design coursework, having earned a master's degree in Humanities and Art History from John Carroll University and a doctorate in Art + Art Education focusing on museum studies from Columbia University.

The groundwork for theory from these educational endeavors are coupled with practical experiences designing and teaching. Work experiences at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The New York Historical Society, The Corcoran College of Art + Design, Pratt, St. John's University and private clients along the way have given me opportunities to work in curatorial departments, education, teaching design students, and fostering the creative process for students.

The relationship between my creativity, artistry, and
academics--working within space and thinking about
the spaces where beauty becomes art through
aesthetics resonates with me--remains a burning ember,
a constant source of light.
I look forward to collaborating with you to design
and curate your space for your lifestyle.

Sincerely,
Dr. Adrienne D'Angelo
